Despite being open to everyone, the service largely sees a middle-aged user base. I spotted the opportunity to expand its audience to students due to the charity’s close proximity to two tertiary education institutes in the lead up to 2025’s September Fresher’s Fairs.

The Community Fridge’s previous poster served to be informational and receptive by older audiences, but was also less appealing to younger groups.

The refreshed promotional materials bring the service’s largest appeal to the forefront with boldness. A semi-satirical tone and nostalgic graphic elements are utilised in the direction, with the flyer’s unconventional form being informed by Gen Zer’s tendencies to acquire collectibles.
